Penne with Ricotta and Basil Sauce
A delicious pasta dish.
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat oil in pan add bacon, garlic, onion and shallots and stir over med heat for 5 mins or until cooked remove from the heat stir in ricotta and basil.
- Meanwhile cook pasta as per pot directions until al dente, just prior to draining the pasta add about a cup of pasta water to the ricotta mixture to thin sauce add more water if you prefer a thinner sauce season well.
- Drain pasta stir through sauce and tomato halves.
