volumetrics is a huge part of clean eating.

clean eating is a chore sometimes because I have to eat physically so much more food. fresh whole foods are less calorie dense then foods covered in sauces,cheeses,dressings... chocolate (shock horror lol)

when you avoid such things be prepared to eat more food then you ever have before.

the trick is remember that food is fuel nothing else! it does not have to taste good, when you really understand that life is good. food is fuel, like a car their is bad fuel and good fuel. not all Cal's are created equal, while making the diet changes add more nutritional food choices.

could you still flavour it with spices and herbs? These will also add to the nutrients and enrich your foods.

I use alit of paprika, tuneric,garlic,pepper,ground chillies, cinnamon....it's a long list.i will put a photo up later with the spices I use.

I like to use a lot of spices and fresh herbs to flavour without the empty calories.

that's where it is good to be able to flavour with fresh herbs and pantry spices I would not survive with out my veg garden🎅💕
