Just recovered from rotator cuff tendinitis Back abnormally sore after 150kg deadlift Will get an xray to rule out disc issues - depressing to say the least. Considering upping my calories if I can't train, to aid recovery and minimise muscle atrophy.

Get well soon, take care of your health... When you recover consider weight training in stead of dead lifts. To many back injuries will haunt you when you get older. ( don't know how old you are... I work in a medical field)

I'm 21, I'll deload for a few weeks and rest. My back is feeling better already, likely just some inflammation as NSAIDs helped.
