Slow Cooked Chicken
Easy chicken cacciatore type slow cooked winter warmer.
Ingredients
Directions
- Chop carrots, onions, celery, mushrooms, potatoes & basil.
- Put carrots, onion, celery, mushrooms and potato in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place chicken on top of vegetables. Sprinkle with pepper, garlic and herbs.
- Mix the water, stock, wine, vinegar, sugar and tomatoes together then pour into the slow cooker. Sprinkle with basil and cover.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours (if cooking on high add some extra water).
- Serve with mixed salad greens and enjoy.
