Hey Friends, I just discovered this App called Caliber, most of you might already know about it (?) but if you don’t know about it, it’s AWSOME! It’s like FS, a logging app , where you log your exercises for resistance training each week. It’s pretty much like having a personal trainer it tells you what excersise you need to do, how to do it with a vidio instruction, and how many reps/sets to do it. You can also chose from a list of exercises and write your own work out too. It tracks and calculates your progress, amount of reps and sets. You can set it to at home work outs just using body weight, or to full gym machine work outs, it will start you at your own beginner easy level. You set the amount of work outs you want to do in a week and it keeps track of everything to make sure you are making progress and doing enough or not too much. there is chat groups and people can check in with each other too. If anyone is also trying to build some muscle to help with weight loss I totally recommend it, it’s free to use and to download, u can buy a personalised one-on-one trainer but they don’t seem to pressure you to get the paid version.
I’m using free version and It’s totally changing my game. besides FS it’s the best app I’ve found to help with this journey. Don’t mean to sound like a Caliber advertisement! Haha. Lotsa love you guys 💗

I Appear to have put back on a kilo this week😩But I’m wandering (hoping) it is due to muscle gain. I changed up my diet plan a little after learning you really can’t build muscle in a calorie deficit. To build muscle proper one has to seperate it from weight loss, and when doing heavy resistance training it’s better not to be in a large calorie deficit for a couple days after. So I upped my calories a little and protein a lot and have been pushing myself hard with resistance training to try to build muscle. Resulting in some weight gained, back up to 68. Ahh it all gets a bit confusing! I was dropping weight so fast I lost 3kg in about 2 weeks time, and I noticed my face was looking a bit droopy from facial fat loss, so I stopped trying to burn weight so fast and started focussing on body resistance training and facial yoga! (It’s a thing! Excersises for your face! Ha) . I hope this weight gain is for the best, I guess I’ll keep going with muscle building and working out and focus on that for a bit. I still have quite a bit of fat to lose tho… so im a bit confused as to how to keep losing the fat but also build muscle? Geez.. you have to be a scientist to work all this stuff out 🧐🤨

✨😁✨woohoo! 67kgs! Only 2 to go until my goal weight. But now I’m thinking I’ll set my new goal down to 62kg from 65. And If I can get to 60kg I’ll be the same weight I was at 35. Which would be nice! I never thought it was possible to be that weight again. I think the skinny person trapped in the overweight persons body is finally trying to be free haha. I remember when I was a legit ice cream junky. I would eat 1litre of ice cream every day! I grew up in a family where nearly every adult was morbidly obese. I have watched my grandmother and my mother suffer all their lives from being so overweight, they could never go outside, or for for a walk, or go to the beach or enjoy life. My Grandmother sat in a chair for 39 years, and she used to get so exhausted just trying to get to the toilet. She would be in so much pain trying to walk down the hallway and completely out of breath 😪 it would break my heart. My mother had chronic knee problems for decades. Most of my family is diabetic and still obese. It feels good to break the chain and finally get a hold of my weight. Praise God (or whatever higher power one believes in) for the Will to change.
