Drama month, Emergency surgery for Gall Bladder then found out I have an electrical problem with my heart. Then they tell me not to stress! LOL. Now we find out our rental house is being sold so we'll have to move in a few weeks. Deep breath and remember who is really in control of our lives and stop worrying. J

Dr's scales show a very different weight so I'm going with that and see how we go from here. At least it was a loss and not a gain from the last time I went to the Dr, also the BP was down slightly so he was quite happy for me to continue this way, said it's working so keep at it! LOL. Jaz

Actually managed to stay under the 1600 calories for the past couple of days, totally annoyed with my scales as they seem to make up a number and throw it on the screen, I'm convinced they have it in for me! LOL. Will try this lower calories for a while and see if it works and if no losses then back up to around 1800 or even near the 2000, at least then I'm not craving anything or trying to find sweets and sneak them in somewhere and having to cut out something important because I ate too much bad stuff! I'm sure something has to give eventually my body can't just hold the fat forever if I'm not giving it the calories to maintain it, can it? :) Jaz

Well, have had a difficult week and had food that I normally wouldn't have in the house... my weight loss (or rather gain) reflects that! Yuck! Well dust myself off and pick the right foods from today on! This is one week when I would have happily chucked the whole thing in, gets so frustrating and I've been trying to make the limits under 1600 as a friend (nurse) recommended... it's just made me want all the wrong foods more, not sure this is the right action for me. Maybe it is better to have 2000 cal and not be craving extra but take longer to lose the weight? I just don't know. :( Jaz

Bit frustrated with weight loss at the moment, it's sooooo slow! I just want to see results *sigh*. Oh well. Have found that by adding 1 teaspoon of dark chocolate chips to my handful of mixed nuts I'm having enough sweetness to make it really satisfying and it only makes the handful (1/4 cup) about 220 calories, considering I'm not supposed to have sodium so these are dry plain roasted it helps for me! :) Would be better if I didn't have the Nutella on bread in the afternoon but we're getting there.
