Muscle raises you metabolic rate but not by as much as people think. Like 3-5 calories per pound?

Honestly it don’t really make a difference for results (protein) but for the push before work out and to nourish body after work out 🏋️‍♀️ well after the workout 👌🏼

Logic dictates preworkout meals will help for before and after. It takes a long time to digest meals.

Hubby eats cold cereal, milk, fried eggs for breakfast all the time. Eggs I can do but ever since I was a kid, cold cereal and milk gives me a belly ache within 10 minutes. I can drink milk so it's not allergy to it, but combine with cereal and I'm a sick puppy. Maybe an additive used in the cereal making process? Diablo, you are lucky he can eat that stuff.

Processed is just so convenient, from protein powder to cereals. Anyway, ya'll would be proud, I didn't eat the crust on my two slices of pizza just now. Maybe if it was cheese stuffed it would be more worth it.

This looks like what my 17 year old son's diet would be if he lived on his own, lol. I do eat some junk, heck, I munched on some Fritos after my workout. But I don't eat cereal much anymore. Don't even drink milk either. I like almond milk (no sugar and less calories). Now ice cream, yeah, gotta have that every now and then. I ate watermelon yesterday at work for breakfast and was peeing all morning, lol. Men can eat crap that women can't. Y'all burn it up for fuel, whereas my body likes to hold on to it on my @$$, hips, thighs and belly. Dang it, I'm gonna have to go raid my pantry after seeing all this, lol. 😂😜

I try to eat healthy, but I'm not going to deprive myself. I sure don't eat kale!!! 🤮 But I save room for treats..and I've lost 33 pounds doing so. 😳
