Protein bar for breakfast, chicken breast for lunch, 2 mini candy bars snack, hamburger patties with a little A1 for dinner and a brownie now as I’m starving. Oh and gummy vitamins because I have issues swallowing pills. Under 1200 so far. Seems like I’ve only eaten meat/protein today mostly and still have like 60g net carbs. 😳

And that’s why low carb won’t work for me. In order not to binge I have to have some treats. Earlier it was two small snickers or I was going to raid the kids snack cake stash. Now it was the brownie that expires next month or go grab the 3 cookies that the kids saved for me. Choices... still not great but better than it was.

And for the record, protein does NOT keep me full. 2 hours after every meal today my stomach was growling painfully. After lunch I napped. 4 hours lol. But I woke up less sore so my body must’ve needed the healing time.

Yes, low card isn't for me either (have done it... didn't enjoy it!)... I can keep away from the chocolate (although prefer not to. Hahaha), but I want bread. And potatoes. And pasta. And rice. And the list could go on and on.

Yep, obviously, after many many years of dieting, I've done low carb many times. Every time I am miserable. Now I do high carb, never looking back.

I can handle moderate carb (50-150g) okay. Really anything under 100g makes me miserable. Plus it adds up fast!
