-Diablo's Journal, 02 Nov 18

If I can just maintain this throughout the cold season I'll be happy but of course, my plan is to keep advancing! This pic is from my Halloween day workout. I started November off badly(Halloween candy is still everywhere) but today is a new day. I figure journaling will help to ward off the usual cold season weight gain. I was looking at pictures from last year. I was in shape for my birthday which is in early September. By the time we visited a pumpkin patch, I had round face-itus. Google photos actually gave me a 'then and now' update between last year and this year and the difference is dramatic.

I also took a look at my diet calendar and it appears that the only month I quit counting was in December 2017. So in one month, just one month I reversed months and months of hard work. Incredible how that happens. So, I just had to make it my duty to continue logging. I can't let up for a second.

Same here, last year I stopped worrying about calories the last 3 months of the year and gained back 16lbs, that is not going to happen this year 😏and then I started this year "eating clean" but not counting calories and that did not worked for weight loss.

Yeah, it can happen quickly, Keilin.

Diablo at 175? Will that make you Pequeño Diablo?

I know that fasting sounds crazy, but that has been my strong tool this year and religiously counting my calories of course. Calories matter 😀

Logging is key for many, if not all of us. Hope the holidays and winter does not undo your hard work. Stick to it and make it work for you. Great job on observation from last year to current year. 😊

agree totally, I managed to put back on 7 pounds which nearly wipes a gain of many months. Back on track as well.

Good pic. Can see the veins and abs coming right along. And I know you can get through the cold weather and holidays like a champ. You got this. :)

My friend's dad is something like 92, and he still has a solid six pack. How does he do it? He heats his house with wood, and he splits it by hand every day. His guns are pretty impressive, too. He's funny about it, if it doesn't get done, you freeze. Cool thing is, it's given him a darn good quality of life as he ages compared to those of us trapped behind a desk. Lumberjack games, anyone?

I agree. Tracking is a must.

I don't have much difficulty with logging even during the winter holidays. It's become such a habit that I actually enjoy logging. My problem is my holiday food choices. Last year I gained about ten pounds and it took about three months to get the weight off. My plan is to try not to gain as much body fat this year and get rid of it faster...

Kikibee5, you live in Henderson. What, maybe need the heat on two or three months? ☀️☀️☀️👓

Si, 175 es Diablo prequeño. But I'll look even bigger so it's all good, lol.

Thanks @Lzenn! @kikibee5, I gain due to not wanting to go outside for any kind of physical activity plus the holiday food and the whole losing motivation to log.

Thanks, man. I just hate that I've never accomplished being able to maintain and especially get leaner during the winter. This will be the first year. Thanks for the encouragement! It definitely is psychological!

So much pressure from the ex-DI! I think it may be his alter ego, Skeletor. He is kinda scary for a skinny guy. 😨

Do you do any particular exercise for those abs or is it a "side effect" due to other exercises like squats ?
