Woke up this morning to a freezing house. Furnace decided to peter out on us last night. I called the heat guy and he came out in less than 2 hours. So thrilled he was willing to work this Saturday. But $330 later we had an empty wallet but we got heat. Glad it happened Saturday and not this coming Tuesday.

Had that happen to my AC on Labor Day, costs extra on holidays. I was pleased to get it fixed for $350 - was super hot here that day.

We can bundle up and add more blankets and quilts to stay warm when heater breaks down but you can't take off enough to get cool when the AC dies. As a Floridian I can tolerate the heat better than the cold.

Mmmmm, cinnamon rolls, I'll be right over. Glad you were able to find an oven element and got those rolls made. Yum!
