my first day attempting the keto diet - any feedback, tips or suggestions anyone please?

As someone who's been doing this for 2 weeks, I can say it's definitely worth it. It's helped my binge eating disorder so much. My tip for you is to watch out for keto flu, you might start to feel sick and tired as you cut out the carbs. My doctor told me that to curtail this you should salt your food really well, have some magnesium supplements and get plenty of rest and water

Thank you - I'll keep that in mind :) Only the first day but I'm already feeling really satisfied, would usually be looking for something else to snack on all night.

For me snacking is habitual, I used to do it for comfort but I've stopped that. Though I still find myself walking past the pantry even though Im completely satisfied. It gets easier though for the first time in my life I havent abused food, I wish you the best of luck

Casey try to keep your carbs around the 50 g mark and you see results

Get more fibre in there, even just a drink mix like Fybogel with 0 calories - very important on keto!

Good job but I thought keto was having less than 20 net carbs a day?

I've read that it's less than 50g - this was my first day attempting Keto so I've been getting better as I go.

Too much carbs for Keto as far as im aware but I fast I don't do Keto cuz I love carbs too much

Been doing Keto for 12 months and lost around 20kg’s, I try to keep my total calories around 1800 per day and under 50g carbs, that blows out a bit on weekends cause I like a beer around then, I think the real key I weight loss is to burn at least 500 more calories than you take in, Keto does help but team it with a good exercise program and weight will fall off
