Protein pancakes. I won't lie, they were 5/10 on taste but 48 grams of protein so I sucked it up, plus the real syrup was good.

Is that from a mix or frozen already made? I'm not keen on regular pancakes, so I imagine these would be worse, but I'm still all ears when it comes to tricks on upping protein. Yeah yeah, whey protein. bleh

Not frozen or made by me, it's from a company called Ambari. Little pouches of powder. My wife orders ready made meals from nutri-system and gets them for me. They are ok.

I have a great recipe (10) for pumpkin oat pancakes that are gluten free, dairy free - they are so much better than any regular pancake. You could add more egg whites/protein powder to up the protein - I think I calculated about 16 g of protein in 2 pancakes - here is the link if you are interested - hopefully it will work for you https://www.fatsecret.ca/Default.aspx?pa=memnd&id=122520765

DO you add protein powder to your mix or is there a "protein" mix for pancakes?

It takes about 40 gallons of maple sap — and nothing else — to make one gallon of real maple syrup. By contrast, the artificial stuff — think Aunt Jemima and Mrs. Butterworth's — is mostly corn syrup. Fake maple syrup resembles real maple syrup about as much as Velveeta resembles a good Camembert.

Are those KETO pancakes or just the syrup?

Why waste calories on a knockoff ? 🙃

I think we have a mason jar of maple syrup made from 5-6 gallons of maple sap. It is incredibly sweet and no doubt from a family of tree maple tappers.
