I hear excuses daily. It’s time to take ownership. If you did something because you wanted to then say so. I had a snickers last night cause I wanted to. If it’s because you had a trigger, a bad moment or whatever then fine. BUT work through those. They can’t be crutches forever. Get help if you need to.

Some people will be offended. Some will need to hear this as I needed to hear it. If offended scroll on by. If not then know that you are strong enough to work through eating issues!

I’d begin to think I had an ED but discovered I just really love food and always have. I don’t have to have all I want in one sitting. I can enjoy looking forward to an evening snickers as some enjoy a bowl of ice cream or fruit. I even had watermelon the other day- guilt free. All because I’ve worked things like that into my diet. You can too!

So many new people are following me and I’m hoping to reach at least one of you. Maybe you’ll realize as I did that this process can be enjoyable if you work through some issues, some triggers and some things you’ve used as a crutch. When you want to dive into emotional eating grab some water and sit down with a task that keeps either your mind or hands or both busy until it passes. Work those treats and favorite foods in your diet! Of course you can’t have them daily at first usually but you can plan a small 100 kcal treat daily or a 500 kcal treat weekly or even pizza for dinner monthly.

Feel free to message me if you are picky like me and want suggestions as to low cal snacks (with carbs), how do make a calorie budget and/or how exactly I fit in my treats and you want to as well! Good luck everyone. You can do this!

I think Keto is moderate protein. He’s aiming for 180g now at 260. He plans on eating the same or more for Keto. His main meal plan is chicken quarters with things like tomatoes and avocados. He loves all three and can live off of that for a week I think before he gets bored with it. Chicken and zoodles will be a meal too. Not sure what sauce I’ll have to get though 🤔.

He may notice a little something immediately, it won't even be true muscle loss, he may just look "flat". Glycogen really gives me that full look, especially at maintenance or in a surplus.

He falls asleep easily now :/. His bicep looks like this 💪 lol. I think it’s the ‘pump’. He’s always flexing and messing with his arms and chest. I’m thinking that’s why they always look ‘full’ when flexing. Don’t know much about this stuff so I could be wrong.

Coffee... hmm he doesn’t drink it and gave up Diet Coke. Had one today though. Decaf iced tea too lol. After spending $50 on what I think will be 5-6 light meals for him, he won’t be buying lots of expensive jerky lol. I said Keto is expensive and he seems to think he can make it the same as CICO or cheaper. Fresh tomatoes, zucchini, avocados and the like aren’t cheap. We usually eat meat we butcher, veggies from the garden (when neighbors don’t spray and end up killing it like this year) and lots of bread and potatoes. Fairly reasonable food budget except snacks and sups like shakes, powders and bars. $50 for a couple days for one person ain’t what I call reasonable ;). But I’m frugal except in my protein and snacks lol. Snickers could double and I’d still get them!

Our chickens eat too much so like $3 a dozen to have chickens lol. But I can buy him some. He won’t like them much after having our own but oh well ;). Just beat the heavy cream into the eggs? I don’t think it would be good as a drink or side ‘dish’ 🤔

I do immort! I have a few each week. Always on workout days. I eat normally then use my burned calories on candy bars lol. That and protein shakes and bars. With my huge sweet tooth it works for me. I’ve shrunk my stomach so that I eat normal portions again and can ‘afford’ snickers. CICO is great for me 😁. Now I couldn’t do this at a deficit but I’m in maintenance so it’s all good.

I'll need to try that, good tip! :D I've been lazying around in "maintenance" for a while now. I still need to lose 1 to 2 Kg, so I'm almost there anyway, but yeah... I guess I needed a break to pig out on crap or something? I don't know... sometimes it's scary, but I've been maintaining and not losing control, so at least there's that. I need to put my head back in the game for this last stretch!

Lol. You guys have already taken ownership! That’s a big struggle for many I think. Also realizing we *can* have things like that on some diets is hard to comprehend to some. I’d go nuts without my treats. Big lunch so treats may be out for me today. Gonna shop and hope to walk a lot to burn enough calories for another snickers tonight lol.
