peeperjj, won't insurance cover the replacements if it was cancer related? Hope you are looking at the safer saline implants. Hey, I claim no medical knowledge, just have done some reading.

I had to laugh when I read nipple tattoos, then I realized that was probably part of the completion of your breast reconstruction. I hope they are able to come up with an answer to the imaging issue that would ease your mind a bit. Enough is enough huh?

Peeper, so glad it isn't cancer, but I am concerned that your doctor doesn't plan to do more tests. Your body is trying to tell you something; if it were me, I wouldn't stop looking until I found out what's going on, even if that meant finding another doctor. Holding you in my heart. 💛

Kenna, you’d really laugh if you saw them lol. The tattoo artist said she was mixing in black for shading. What she did however was use straight black in areas. Guess I shouldn't have joked with her about giving me African American nipples. We were both joking around about natural and non natural colors to use. Perhaps she thought I was serious? But if so why didn’t she take me seriously on rainbow colors or blue since it’s my fav color lol. Yes it’s the last stage. I put it off because I had a higher chance of recurrence in the first 3 years. They told me I’d have to replace the implant in about 10 years so we went ahead with tats. Now they want to move it up.

It took me forever to find this dr. The kids and I love her. She’s willing to order almost every test I want done. I go to her next week. If there’s any doubt in her mind that it could be something I’ll request testing. After researching more, there is a high chance these nodes are just taking up the slack for the three missing ones. I also have an oncology appointment this fall so I’ll ask her opinion. I honestly thought that office would call but they haven’t. My insurance will cover the implant replacement. However, why should they have to when the company knows its linked to a rare cancer? The FDA says replacing it isn’t worth the risks when it’s a rare cancer. 🤷♀️

Glad your not facing cancer again peeps, but I’d need to get to the bottom of it myself. Unknown is the worse to me. You’re very strong and I admire you so very much!! ❤️🙏
