We are at a basketball tournament for my oldest. It’s her first traveling team tourney :). They lost the first two pool games and won the third. Another tomorrow then the bracket. 2-4 games tomorrow depending on how well they do.

Ate McDonald’s for lunch and Chili’s for dinner. Had popcorn for a snack. 2000+ calories. Not bad as I was expecting that or more. Tomorrow will be more because I’ll eat breakfast.

Really should’ve packed a snickers lol. But it would’ve melted in the heat or gotten squished in my purse. Really craving that or cookies right now. Or donuts. Heck, anything sweet would work lol. Shared one slice of cheesecake between the 5 of us. Just wasn’t enough lol.

They lost the first two pool play games, won the third and lost the 4th this morning. Sitting in last place. Some hard games! This morning they look like little kids trying to play lol. I think three games yesterday did them in. Honestly it’s not that bad though. They had 2 practices before covid and 10-12 since the gym opened back up. One girl stayed home and, of the 7 that came, 3 are new this year. They just started learning the team plays. It doesn’t help that this last game had a team with 3-4 girls who were a foot taller than ours and could drain 3’s all morning. Our girls are more compact. Nice muscle tone, most are quick but it’s hard to play against 6 footers when most of your team are in the 5’2-5’6 range lol. Hubby thinks one girl we played against was probably 6’4. He is 6’ and his dad and brother are 6’4 so he’s a better judge of that stuff than I am.

It is! Especially watching the more advanced teams that have been doing this for years.
