Worst hotel breakfast ever. After 2 nights of 4-4.5 hours sleep I woke up starving. Always do after less sleep.

Had a hard, dry, sense biscuit, half a scoop of gravy and I couldn’t finish either small muffin because they were so dry. I drank two glasses of orange juice just to get it down. McDonald’s breakfast would’ve been calories better spent lol.

My other choices were oatmeal, bran cereal or pre packaged pastries. One heavy kiddo sat next to us with 3 biscuits, heaps of gravy, 3 pastries and an oatmeal. He walked out after us with an armload of food heading back to his room. It was very sad.

Blood sugar was 90’s on waking and 140 right after I ate. Still in range.

Sorry your hotel breakfast sucked! Hope you find something delicious later on! Great to hear the blood sugar is good.

Did you fill out a comment card or make a suggestion at the desk? They really should have fresh fruit and other options :-(

I normally love hotel breakfasts but some are awful, unfortunately.

That sucks! When we do stay in hotels I look forward to breakfast!

Sorry. Sometimes it's a captive clientele and they don't care.

They had a sign up saying due to covid the options were limited. Normally hotels have eggs and sausage but this one didn’t. Basically everything was pre packaged. I’ve never had canned gravy but one of my kids has and said the gravy was canned. I saw the lady take muffins out of plastic after I’d already gotten mine. I was all geared up for some eggs this morning lol. Since I’m still hungry I’m stuck with a hotdog, chips, candy, nachos or popcorn from the concession stand lol. It’ll probably be nachos! Or a snickers 🤤 haha. Or both! Who cares today!

I'm surprised they even had gravy....everything anymore is packaged up, no serve yourself open foods like that...Do they not have a restaurant on site?

Either the oatmeal or the bran cereal would have been a decent choice. High fiber and other nutritional values from the milk and the cereal. Would help keep you full u til you could get to a place with some decent protein choices.

I’m not an oatmeal person and I’m lactose intolerant. Doubt bran cereal would’ve been very good without milk. The had fruit loops I almost got lol. No restaurant on site. Closest one was a chili’s that wasn’t open yet. There wasn’t anywhere to stop between the hotel and the tournament either. 🤷‍♀️ Next time I’ll try and remember to call ahead and ask about the breakfast or take a few rice crispy treats or cereal bars 😉.

SPeeper do you know about lactose free milk, Lactaid tablet, vanilla almond milk, oatmeal milk, rice milk. They make these things in little 6 oz.-8 ox cartons that are shelf stable and do not require refrigeration till opened. A lifesaver on trips.

I’m not a milk drinker so I haven’t gotten any. Plus if I took lactase tablets I’d eat ice cream more and go over my calorie limits lol. I’ve tried soy milk and it’s okay but not great. I’d rather just not have any.
