Do you soak your chias before eating - they blow up to make a mass of jelly. I soak mine in almond milk and a dash of juice for flavour.

Ooooo I’ve never done that but seen it in some baking videos. Apparently soaked chia can be a substitute of eggs in vegan recipes. Is the crunchiness all gone after soaking? I like crunchy haha

There’s a bit of crunch left, but I’ve never eaten them any other way. I was introduced to chia as ‘chia pudding’ which is soaked in coconut milk and fruit juices, so I basically copied that because I liked it.

Because fruit juices are so sugary I’m now using a very small amount - 50 ml or less. The juice I’m using at the moment is 100% pomegranate, only 13g sugar per 100ml but a nice strong fruity flavour.
