Had a MAJOR fat day yesterday and today, and for the first time i didn't record everything( /anything, actually) that i ate on here. But im refusing to feel ashamed of myself because I've learnt that self shame spirals into a slump, depression, and ultimately giving up. So I'll just call it a trip. Today, I'll just pick myself and (try) to keep going, and doing a bit better. And in the bright side, I loooove riding my new bike and it's getting eas(ier) to go uphill. I love finding a form of exercise that I don't hate and have to force myself into. The only problem is getting it out onto the street: it's a pretty heavy and unwieldy bike and I have to get it through 2 heavy, almost broken gates that are really hard to open at the best of times, let alone with one hand while holding a heavy bike up in the other. Also, the ground is too unsteady and the bike too heavy to just put the stand down. In fact, the stand often doesn't work and the bike falls over due to its extreme weight and long handlebars.. I feel the bike's creator should have taken this into account and made the stand thicker, longer, something like that. oh well. ć è la vie. Anyway, it's fun to ride though I find those pics on social media on people exercising whose faces are all Zen, when I'm riding uphill battling the elements on a windy day and have to "anger --> adrenaline" myself into getting up that hill, I'm screaming affirmations (sometimes literally just screaming) and my face is more like this: 😠😫😖🥴 Happy New Year comrades. Happy new year Monkeh! My stationary bike is really awkward too - i need more leg room, - I think it was designed by and for people of very small stature! So I’m far preferring walking and now that I can go to a gym, treadmill.

Thanks Jomo you too!! I don't do NY resolutions tho because they never work. Same reason you don't start a diet on a Monday 😆 God I wish I had a stationary bike and /or Treadmill, could plonk myself of front of Netflix and just slowly walk for hours while distracted and not having to be overly attentive to my surroundings. Plus, then I could exercise at night (im pretty much always awake at night, bored and restless)
