Draglist's Journal, 13 Feb 21

Woke at 228.9, down .8 from yesterday. Extra red wine and some nuts after dinner led to a nearly 3400 calorie day. Good sleep last night for a change. Not going to hit my February calorie goal unless I limit myself to 1200 calories per day. UPDATE: Did pushups and 45 minutes of HIIT cycling in the late afternoon. Got to 226.6 after that. I took a blood glucose and ketone reading to see what it would look like after 18 hours of fasting and a 45-minute cardio workout. I got a 110 glucose reading! I also got .2 MM ketones, so definitely not in ketosis, but the high blood glucose blew my mind! Did the exercise cause me to dump a bunch of glucose out of my liver and into my bloodstream? I need to research this. HellowFresh cranberry pork for dinner tonight.

Ouch! 1200 is almost one meal for me. I'm 252, and I've been doing 2500 + cardio and steadily losing. I don't drink, so that helps me a little.

I understand the confusion. But now, here, if I change one God-blessed thing, I am all over the place. But I kept coming here. Sometimes hourly, now once a day to track. So...just keep trying. Don't give up. You WILL find what works if you keep working on it. Not obsessively though. Sometimes fast;sometimes slow. Just keep coming.

Wow...my sugar #s were so bad...when I started. I was up in high 180'S . I got it down to consistently around 100. But when it drifts down to the 80's, I feel like I have conquered my world of fear around Diabetes II. It is still jumpy but less so. SO NO MEDICATIONS!!!!✌️ Good, good share. Thank you -you woke me up!
