I have been reading a book that recommends no caffeine so I tried hot tea this morning. Also per book aiming for 3 to 4 33oz. bottles of water a day so am focusing on drinking 33 oz. this morning. Lately I haven't wanted a lot of water. Maybe the change of focus will pay off. The book recommends 32 oz. for every 60# of body weight.

There is as much caffeine in tea as in coffee unless you are drinking caffeine free, which has a whole nother set of health risks. Nothing is perfect. Chocolate has caffeine, 7-up has a small amount of caffeine, and so it goes. Build a way of eating that you can live with. Include some of the things that make you smile. This is for the long haul. Deprivation does not work.

Yes Kenna I am having one cup of regular coffee with 1 T coconut oil and 1 T MCT blended. Sure does hit the spot.

I started Mud/wtr (not mad at coffee, just disappointed) and Laird’s super creamer (it has all 4 MCT oils), about 1 month ago. It has upped my energy levels and helped me in my kiteboarding progression.

Try chikory. It tastes almost like coffee but healthy.
