Tim Huffman's Journal, 02 Mar 14

Wow, what a month… I'm pretty sure I spent more time in a hotel bed than I did in my own. I ended the month with a Las Vegas vacation. I ate like a starved animal, buffets, Pasta, Ice cream whatever. I ended the trip with a huge meal at Bonefish. Mussels, Bang Bang Shrimp Steak, Lobster and a brownie and ice cream dessert. It was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Shout out to bonefish for nailing it. We kept very active enjoying the low 70 plus degree weather, we even went hiking around a mountain (about 6 miles) in Red rock mountain park. When I got home I jumped on the scale and saw I was in the 190's, ouch… I got home at 8PM Tuesday rolled around on the living room floor with the kids and the dog, put the kids to bed and then had to pack to head to KC leaving at 8:30am the next morning (Wednesday). I packed chicken, broccoli and protein powder. I flew into KC and had to drive to Wichita for a presentation at 7am the next morning (Thursday). After the meeting I had to drive back to KC for a presentation at 7am on Friday. I finally flew home Friday and made it to my house at about 9PM Friday. I'm very proud to say that I worked out just about every day and while traveling for work I have a great system to make sure I eat healthy.

I was worried that taking a vacation would throw me off track but so far I have been able to jump right back on track. I had a great workout yesterday and an even better one today. I plan to weigh in tomorrow morning and think I'll even show a loss after all that…: )

I Jumped on FS and saw a couple of motivational posts from my Buddies pulling for a strong March finish. You guys are awesome. I'm in if for the long run with you all, lets finish this challenge and finish what we started. Zig Zigler says "if you aim at nothing, you'll hit it every time" Before March ends I will be 180 or less!
