LC, I am glad there is still people willing to open their mentalities. I see younger people way more conservative these days. It’s ok to read some “stupidity” from an older person but from younger generations ... annoys me, especially when there is an easy access to internet and information these days. Anyway, this is an excellent warm up if you are working out your upper body or can also be used as a finisher... this kneading burns! 😂 Looking at the bright side: there’s no odd stuff added. It’s just simple ingredients.

LC, 5months there and other couple months in UK in lockdown working from home, making bolo do caco every day.... that’s how I joined FS! The thing is, people never tell you are fat until you decide by yourself to lose the weight and be able to say hello to your elbows and knees again.

Paula, the UK and Portugal are dangerous places for me when it comes to food 😂The "bolo do caco workout" - "tone" your upper body by kneading like your ancestors. Oh yeah, almost no one told me I was fat / putting on too much weight. It's only once I lost weight that people who didn't even know me that well started telling me how different I looked and asking what I was doing.

Well, wait just a minute there Sugar-lats (Diablo)... I found it more appealing ti slim down first because it opened the window to be able to eat a ton more. If you start with lower body fat, you can gorge without remorse knowing you'll burn it off at the gym. This only works if the individual is fairly "normal BMI" though. In that case, yes: slim down, then "tone up" lol. But I'm still jealous of all you peeps who started bigger! Your like a walking calf press machine! Every step is doing a 200# calf press rep! I'd get my daily workout just walking to the kitchen to fetch another bowl of ice cream!

I don't think calf presses count till level 270. Also you went out of your way to stay in DYEL status? Shame *rings bell in your general direction*

I was "toned". I looked like I lifted... just the neoprene green and purple dumbbells, so there! Suck it, Cersei! Shame *THIS* 😡

All this talk of bread. I was driving by a place that makes the best pancakes ever. I took a U-turn and got some to go. Worth it. Also, I couldn't even finish all 3. Light weight. Still, I drowned them in a gallon of diner syrup and butter so I'll be up a couple pounds at least mañana.

Lol at say hello to your elbows and knees again. I recently started saying hello to the bones on top of my feet again.

It's because you wanted it down with a half gallon of Fairlife! GOFAD much? 😆

LC, What type of nice food you’ve tried in uk? The ones that I fancy the most are not original from here 🤣 I’ll be exercising upper body again today but equipment free. Making some bread. Ready to burn that McDonald’s chicken burger that I craved after this conversation and it wasn’t even that good. I will palate cleanse with churros dipped in a spread which tastes like kinder bueno. 🥴 About what you said.. true. Some people still ask how I changed my body so quickly from home , what I did and what supplements I took... Everyone wants to know but no one wants to put the work, the focus and the consistency in.

lol, the conversations between Diablo and Chris are hilarious, especially the nicknames Chris gives him. In my case, I saw my collarbones again, feet looked slender again, and upper ribs are nice and visible. Paula, I had McDonald's once this year. It was pretty good, but I didn't want it again, something about the oil's smell was gross. In the UK, I guess I also like the stuff that immigrants brought over (lots of options!) but also pot roast, shepherd's pie, the big English breakfast, Devonshire cream, scones and the supermarket junk. I was never tempted by most American candy but with a UK supermarket, I could gain 10lbs easily.

No offense to American junk food...I love oreos and oreo McFlurry is still my favorite.

LC, true that. Oils in this places can get quite dark by the end of the day. Let’s not forget lots of stuff are also fried in the same oil. So it is very likely to get a chicken burger with a hint of mozzarella sticks or something fishy. They are fried and then kept in a container to keep it warm until an order comes in. If not requested, keep it for next day because that’s stock and can’t be wasted 😆😆 To be honest, I don’t normally eat fried stuff so I get a bit frustrated when my expectations get ruined. If you decide to bulk, have a holiday in UK and then head to Madeira 🤣 Nice to chat to you it I will now return to FS UK. P.s bolo do caco as pre workout with a lean steak, cheese, ham and salad (called prego) 😝

Kkhan, you’re welcome. I hope this is only the start for you 😊 Good luck in your journey !

Good point, Paula. I think I'll stick to my airfryer in future. Oh no, that's all the encouragement I needed. I love prego, though honestly, just the bread (or any "rustic" bread) slathered in salty butter or olive oil is number one for me. But the prego has more protein. See you
