Just needing to vent a little...my main frustration in this lifestyle change journey is 'meal planning'!! Ughhh....so many recipes, so many wonderful photos posted, so many cookbooks! Somehow I need to figure out how to simplify this process and be able to plan meals for a week at a time, and RELAX the rest of the time (except for preparing the meals, of course!) Any ideas?

I'm at the same stage, trying to find some easy go-to meals I know in advance will be ok. Salads are pretty safe, also are fish, chicken/turkey breasts and most veggies. Rice, bread, pasta, nuts, fatty meats are super dense in calories, so low portions. Fruits are nice but high in sugar, eggs are high in protein but high in fat and cholesterol, cheese, cream are the same, and one tbsp of olive oil packs 120kcal.

I'm also cooking for my hubby, so I've been trying to make actual meals. He is on this weight loss journey also (tho he might not realize it, lol)
