I really need some suggestions here please and thank you in advance, I severely sprang my knee almost 3 years ago and I never gotten any surgery done for it due to I couldn't deal with any more problems with my body not healing the proper way as that is what happened when I had cubical and carpel tunnel surgery a few years prior to that I still dont have feeling in my elbow from it, anyways I had the swelling down to a minimum and here recently it is swelling up again (not hurting) but swelling I do not know what else I can do as I ice it and heat pack it, I do not want to lose any of my progress that I have had. I am thinking about calling my doctor on Monday morning to see what he says or see if he cannot see me sooner than the 30th to see what he says to do. other than that I do not know what else to do it makes me upset that I will not be fallible to be as active as I was and I would gain that weight back that I lost

Do call the doc. Could be something as simple as arthritis. Joys of getting older, new challenges on top of old. Treatable.

in the short term you could do as close to no carb as you can, and see if it helps, when I stay low my swelling and inflammation disappears

I had a knee injury that still hurt 3 mos later. Doctor sent me to physical therapy and it was a game changer. They had me exercise it and mobilized it so I’m in better shape than I was before the injury.
