Holy shiezen! What a crap week!

I have re-discovered the perfect enemy to anyone trying to lose weight and/or be fit and active... "No sleep + nightmares in consecutive nights + a touch of depression + a pinch of work and training related stress" - The sugar cravings have rocketed and self worth has gone down!

To all those going through hell in their minds, where no one but you know the mental struggles and battles you go through hour by hour, I salute you. I especially salute those that are still able to look after their kids or function well at work, regardless of how they feel inside.

I'm not sure if this week's insanity is due to the lack of sleep, hormones, disturbing nightmares or crazy funky weather, but whatever it is, it's led to a very cranky and agitated wolf ready to rip anyone's head off or dive into the nearest chocolate bar - regardless of flavour.

As much as I hate to write off a day, I think today and yesterday need to be acknowledged and then put to the past so that I can move on. Fingers crossed tomorrow's diet works out better!

To anyone out there that reads this, stay strong too - I keep reminding myself when I have a shit day that there are at least 100,000,000 people and animals out there having an even MORE shit day compared to my own.

Hope everything settled down and you could get your groove back today. Forgive yourself - "To err is human; to forgive is divine", Alexander Pope. Sometimes people don't realise it's divine to forgive yourself too if it helps you move ahead with life. Acknowledge and move on seems like a great strategy.
