Happy Sunday CJ!!! Last night I probably slept eight hours... which is rare for me. I tired myself out walking the dog in strong wind. Catabolism Yuck.

Sleep is a very important part of life, not only because of the control of weight loss, but also because of health. Including moral. Your post is very correct🤗💖 I have not slept normally for almost 11 years (beloved children do not allow me to enjoy my sleep🤣). And today I really wanted to get some sleep. But it didn't work out as usual🤣 And sorry for my English, it's not very good. Thank you for your words 🤗

@liv...I didn't know what that meant, and the dictionary definition didn't help much either😏 But this quote DID help..."Regardless of an organism’s energy source, its metabolism is a balance of catabolism, breaking energy down into usable units, and anabolism, using those units for vital building projects such as bone growth."

@Annika_V...I think your English IS very good! I understand and greatly appreciate your kind comments today! (11 years is a LONG time to not sleep normally! Hopefully, you will get a chance to catch up on it when the children are a little older💙😴)

CrystalJo74, thank you. I periodically have to use the program translator, but I still try to check that this program translates for me😁

I think that in your picture there catabolism refers to muscle catabolism which is muscle and lean body mass loss. Exactly what we are trying to avoid as we lose weight.

Thanks liv001...I think you're right. It's especially important as we get older! Thanks for clarifying that for us💕

@Diana...thank you so much for leaving an encouraging word! I chose sleep this morning too (instead of Letty's class) but I'm really not able to do the toning right now anyway. Maybe by next Monday!! Hope you start getting the sleep YOU need soon. 💙😴💪🌞

@Diana...I just saw your latest message and want to APPLAUDE you for joining class this morning! WAY TO GO!! I'm putting a message into my rheumatologist that the biologics are not working (it's been 8+ weeks of injections) so maybe we will try a different one soon. I sure do miss seeing you all on Zoom 😞💃

CrystalJo, don’t lose complete hope re: biologics. I have been on Enbrel for severe RA for 10-years. Perhaps you need to try a different biologic. I’m rarely completely pain free and occasional flare-ups are a fact of (my) life. It can take more time to adjust to the meds. Whatever you and your doc decide about medication, losing weight has been a major contributor to better health for us both. Blessings over Easter my friend.🤗🇨🇦
