Great weigh-in this morning. Down 10 lbs since starting this weight loss journey. Mini successes as well. Mini Success #1: Had a work related lunch this week and only had the chips and sandwich (smoked turkey with lettuce/tomato (no cheese) and no condiments (because there were none...LOL)). I could have chosen the steak sandwich on the fat-ful (my own new word) and high caloric bread, but I didn't. I also didn't have the cookie that came with the lunch. I looked up the nutritional info on Panera's website and the entire cookie was 400 calories. WOW! Mini success # 2: I am also now able to tighten by belt to the next opening. All in all a good week.

My husband has joined me on this weight loss journey as well. So for his mini success (which turned into one for me) he noted that there was a salmon option at the restaurant that we went to last night. Between you and me I was planning on having a burger because I didn't eat lunch yesterday as I was at the hair salon getting a color and cut for 2 1/2 hours and didn't think it was healthy to eat while getting chemicals put on my hair. Of course getting chemicals put on my hair isn't healthy in and of itself, is it? ...LOL. Anyway, he noted the salmon entree so we both went for it and it was delicious. He is not a fish person so I am so proud of him. After we ate he even said that we need to eat more fish. It is so much easier when he is doing this with me.

Haven't incorporated any exercises into my daily routine thus far. I am on my feet all day working with my patients but I hurt my foot this past week and work has been hard enough but I am going to try to do something this weekend even if I just ride my stationary bike.

Looking forward to dropping the next 10 lbs. Have a great weekend!!!

Enjoy your weekend as well! I am glad to read that you have a great support system in place at home. I bet you look beautiful with your new cut and color. I love having my hair trimmed every 6 weeks and styled. It's like a spa day for me.

I'm the opposite, getting my haircut s almost as bad as the dentist!! I hate people messing with my hair, a necessary evil in my life.
