Pumps do matter.

The pump is direct evidence of cell swelling causing muscle growth. The biggest pumps correlate to the biggest ROMs(with a stretch), most volume, most metabolites, and the lowest RIRs(reps in reserve) so it helps you know you're working hard enough for optimal muscle growth.

Then you have the fact that they make you feel and look better which helps with motivation and staying disciplined. The pump matters A LOT.

Not going for them and gaining a bit of muscle doesn't prove pumps don't matter. You may not worry about them, and that's fine. Blanket statements with no proof are just an opinion. I never said they are required, but when you're optimal with your training and diet, they will come regardless. 4 reps and one set is not optimal.

Diablo, just so you know...I've learned a lot from your posts.. (including that you like donuts) but mostly information that helps me on my fitness journey..we may follow different food plans but I have actually adjusted my plan after reading some of your posts and doing my own research. You are an inspiration for sure!💪💪👍👍👍👍

Diablo keep sharing because there is a lot of information out there. I am like Diana and have been inspired by your posts. I actually increased my carbs after reading your posts and have felt better at the gym and more energy!
