Day 10. Have lost 2 pounds in 10 days. Not phenomenal but it is something especially added to the other weight from October - now down 8 pounds since starting this challenge. It would be amazing if I can take off 5 pounds before Thanksgiving - I would be at the lowest weight I have been since probably 2006, and definitely since joining FS in 2009.
I invited people for Thanksgiving so now I have to clean up my house. I have storage that a friend left here, second storage situation that I got myself into. His things should fit into the back closet though, so not as drastic as the garage-full of the previous person who stored stuff. I started to sell off some of what is here to get rid of things and also alleviate the volume.
Went to mom's over the weekend and got threatened by the turkeys that live in her neighborhood. She lives in the City of Boston. Not sure how these turkeys survive, but apparently there are about a dozen that wander up and down her street. Here are 3 that wouldn't let me retrieve the newspaper from the walkway.

Great work Abbadabba! Be sure to sit outside and let them watch you eat a turkey leg.

Excellent drop! Down is down, though I know how you feel about the speed. I've increased my exercise with negligible results, which leaves me with cutting food. Made some lower calorie choices at the market, will adapt. Let's get this, @Abba!👍🏻

Turkeys are quite large and not real fearful. They come and eat under our bird feeders.

That is wild that they walk up and down the city of Boston. They are huge birds. I didn't realize how big until some got into my backyard and when I opened the door they flew over the fence. I didn't realize how far they could fly either.

Nice job on the weight drop. 2 pounds in 10 days could turn in to 6 pounds a month which is not a bad goal. I have wild turkeys all over the place. They sleep in the trees at night and spend the day under my neighbor's oak tree. I've heard people say that turkeys are mean, but mine aren't. They follow me around hoping for some bird seed and they know where are the bird feeders are and look for food there.

I have had one lone turkey roaming our front yard for a couple of weeks. She was hanging out with the deer the first time I saw her. So far she hustles off into the woods when we come around...no attacking us 😊 I'm not sure if she'd be braver in a pack.🦃🦃🦃

Females are protective! We had them in our yard when we still lived in Minneapolis

I've never seen turkeys in person. They have beautiful shiny feathers. I got some trauma from a rooster when I was a child. I was too small and naïve to protect myself from his attack. After many many years, still have a memory, but I eat chicken. 😅
