Lucky you! I'm still not sure of all I said but the nurses in recovery just loved me 😆 Something about trying to 'surf' while they were wheeling me down the corridor to recovery🏄♀️

Oh, hope it went well. I had mine removed at 17 and don't remember the recovery. I'm guessing that's because it wasn't bad, or it was so bad that my brain blocked the memory. Lol

omgosh! I remember my first memory after the anesthesia was "waking up" walking around in the middle of a Walgreens, no memory between dentist office & there😂

chew some gum, 1/2 a stick after numbness wears off. be sure to keep it in the front. it will keep your jaw loose, won't be as sore.

oh I'm sorry to hear, wifey! i hear its a rare genetic trait, to feel pain under anesthesia. i havent researched it but ive been under before....

Oh, I have been under and I didn’t feel pain. That’s not what I meant. Sorry I was supposed to spare you the details ha ha. It was just that my recovery did not go well, and all the things that they said could happen, did happen to me. I’m sure they won’t happen to you. My experience was very rare. But remember do not use a straw!! I didn’t and followed all the doctors orders, but I was just one of those that did not do good in recovery. I just always thought if I used a straw back then what on earth would’ve happened. Gives me goosebumps.🤯

Kaylinrenee, I have read that it is close to 1 in 1000. That's why the mix of anesthesia meds cause amnesia. The trauma of remembering waking during surgery must be horrible. If the patient doesn't remember, it avoids litigation and PTSD.

yes i cant imagine. terrifying. haha i think thats why my csections were so comforting for me. i was awake and could verbalize any pain or nausea.
I'm not even hungry. had coffee and a few scoops of halo top.

My wife did amazing for her c-sections as well. I have full video of my youngest being cut out. It's pretty cool.
