Just a quick thought Heather. Anemic iron deficiency and B12 deficiency are thing that creep up on one after a period of time. They are common with people with UC but the doctors don't really tell you😃👍

Thank u for that jonty, how long have u had it?? My daughter although won't weigh herself has lost at least 1st, she's always had a weight problem which is why she refuses to see the scales no matter how hard she tries, doesn't help she's only 5ft1 xx

I had it all my life but was mis-diagnosed with piles. It wasn't till a doctor investiged further when I was about 50 that I found I had UC and diverticulitis. I've lead a full life with the odd restriction but at 62 I'll take that. Be positive and get a plan😃👍

Madis never been able to have spicy things it's gone straight through, n she maybe went to the loo bout once a week for years, they were surprised she's not had a flair up before she did she was 22, 23 now, the free from stuff is so expensive so I help her out with that, like u say I think it's all trial n error but some foods have hidden things, do u no what's caused ur flair up??

Heather my one of my workmates as Crohn's and he can eat stuff I can't and visa versa so it's not a one size fits all. A food diary and how you feel log is the way I went. Its slow and boring but it did the trick for me. A small price to pay. I also have to take diverticulitis into account. This is my first hospital stayso I ain't done bad 😃👍

Heather you can ask as my questions as you like it's no problem. I find tiredness and fatigue a big factor in feeling unwell😃👍

She does the food diary, n if she has a "moment" goes back over it, she's just getting on with things to be fair, she works for the local council as a joiner, they have been good with her, it's her pack up though the bread n wraps arnt the best 🙄 what do u get bread wise?? Xx
04 Jun 23 by member: heatherboardman
Bread wise I have Warburtons 50/50 no crust if not got that I get 50/50 and cut the crusts off and a final straw is Warburtons wholemeal 55 calories a slice or Weight watchers wraps 118 calories a wrap. I work for the County Council and they've been good with me. I've got a risk assessment detailed just for me through my line manager and occupational health 😃👍
