Well, this is the first week after I started the Fast-5 program. It's a fast for 19 hours with a five hour eating window. I've lost 5 pounds so far, but I read that I should not expect to see changes until the third or fourth week of the program. It takes the body that long to adjust and start burning fat.
I can say that I like the results so far. I feel lighter (even if it's light-headedness). It does not seem to be too hard to stay fasting. I keep busy and I don't dwell on missing breakfast and lunch. I have a lot more energy -- although it's nervous energy which I don't particularly like but it's better than feeling sluggish and depressed. Also, the acid reflux problem that's been plaguing me at night is all but gone.
I got to keep my eye on the prize. I gave myself plenty of time to accomplish my goal weight. If I only lose a pound a week, that will be good enough for me. The weight loss will eventually add up.
