I went through all of that with the IRS with a monthly pay plan for 7 years. We owed about 8k. No longer with her and things under control now. Go have that margarita and chips! Cheers!

When your income varies from year to year, paying quarterly can really help prevent that big hit at the end of the year.

Well at least your taxes are done, that’s a relief but I hear you on the costs. We did a staycation this year instead of a vacation because we had to replace our furnace and fridge. At least the weather has been getting so much nicer! I banished my long sleeves to the back of the closet. Yay! 🎉

Chicago Ken, what a horror story!! I am glad life is better now!👍 I am going to start making quarterly payments just to never be slapped with a huge payment. You think life is going well, but the more you achieve the more the government wants! It’s just a fact, unless you’re a politician.😁 May go for a margarita today.👍☀️

Morticia, I think taco salads are the easiest and healthiest, plus they’re soooo delicious!! Can live off that for sure!!
My dad was so cheap, he loved going to the bank for free coffee. He’d sit in a chair and enjoy his coffee. One time the bank was being robbed and he didn’t even notice, just sat through it all sipping his coffee.😆

Ugh. So sorry to hear that. We were just recovering from Christmas, then we adopted three cats and they all needed neutering, then more vet bills when one got sick from pancreatitis and diabetes. Hang in there.

Sternfan, we will be paying quarterly for now on. I don’t want to face this ever again. Our vacations are always in the mountains and never cost much to go on. I feel for you. We just got through paying for our refrigerator, they’re not $300 -$500, anymore. Our furnaces need to be replaced, but we are surviving living in S.CA. I am always cold though, haven’t given up my sweaters yet. Well, we both have new refrigerators and healthy, so enjoy your day in your short sleeves!👍😁☀️

Is bank theft reportable or tax deductible income? I found that setting up and online IRS account helped make the quarterly process less hectic. They offer a phone app.

AncientHippie, you are wonderful to take care of three cats!!🤗 I have cats, but barn cats and I am down to three. I wanna get them fixed, but I could use a few more kittens and I think they’re coming soon by the looks of things. 😁 Vet bills can be so outrageous. I try not to get upset when I go to the vet. Shirfleur💕, I want to thank you because you kind of made me feel better about paying. It’s true if you don’t owe, you haven’t made much. I think it’s been our expenses that have saved us in the past, but last year we really didn’t have any, not even medical, which is a good thing, so I’m gonna look at it in a better light.
