Tonight is my first night trying to control my night snacking. I have been snacking every night for weeks, and I am putting a stop to it. This morning, before going to the office, I wrote weight loss mantras on post-its and put them all over my apartment to help me to stop snacking after 8pm. I even put one on the entrance to the kitchen with a list of healthy 8pm snacks in case I feel like I might cave. My favorite mantra is: "SUCK IT UP and someday you won't have to SUCK IT IN." Lolol. I love that one.

So, tonight it starts again! No more snacking after 8pm. Wish me luck!

For me, snacking was one of the hardest things to give up...especially chips/nachos/popcorn. it took a few weeks for the cravings to go away. I also used to be "addicted" to ice cream. I don't even think about that anymore. I don't know you or your personality, but if I can do it, ANYONE ca do it. You got this :) Love the mantra BTW

I recently started using liquid chlorophyll to help manage my hunger, in just 1 week I've already made it down ton portioning and I'm not as hungry all the time! I usually mix a tablespoon in with my water twice a day! Keep up the good fight!!

Well done, Diea. Mind over matter--when that fails, post-it notes! I love it. You're working hard at being good to yourself. That has to make you feel good right there. Good luck!

just like Kissangelgirl says one of the hardest things to do is stop snacking....i always had a snack every night for years and years....I am old as dirt and that means a lot of snacks....i change my eat my last meal later now for a week i have not had a snack or a craving ...i believe i am over the hump....good luck to you.
