Well I'm back down to 146.5, that's like 1 1/2 lbs overnight - yeah, probably water weight. I DID drink a few Diet Cokes over the weekend, but these are made with Splenda instead of Aspartame. I'd been hitting Coke Zero pretty hard because it's everywhere, but I was getting severe headaches. I know I have a sensitivity to Aspartame; Splenda doesn't seem to be as bad. Anyway, I haven't had a Coke Zero in over a week; headaches are much better.

So, last week I went 4 days without any kind of Coke, & I thought I would DIE! I did have a couple over the weekend, but still want to cut that down to just an occasional Coke, less than 1 per week. This week I'm focusing on less coffee, although I haven't gotten off to a great start. Still had 3 cups yesterday & am on my 2nd cup today. Need to switch over to the tea now. Also, last night I tried a new (for me) strength-training program: Stronglifts 5x5. Yesterday was Day 1, I did 5 sets of 5 reps of squats, bench press & bent-over rows. However, I only used 5 lb dumbells, and I'm going to step up the weight increase much slower than the program recommends (I know you're supposed to use a barbell, but I don't have one of those yet). 5 lbs this week, move up to 8 lbs next week & 12 lbs the following. May have to join a gym after that, haha. I'm glad I kept the weights low, as I'm feeling it today - not painful, but definitely feeling the effort. But I'd LOVE to increase muscle & decrease fat, my body fat% is around 37 - YIKES! If I can get that number closer to 30% & reduce the waistline, I wouldn't CARE what the scales say!! I could still weigh 146 & be okay with that, yessireeee! So I'll try this for a few weeks & see how it goes.
