" Getting there "
I am trying! I feel good and I am happy. I'm not sure what happens if I don't reach my RDI every day... I sort of wish there was a virtual 'man' or 'woman' who could speak to me through fatsecret and tell me what I should be increasing in my diet... whether I have too many carbs in my day to day food intake... I'm not sure but I suppose it's all part of the learning game. I have to do some work too, right! but let's be honest... who wouldn't be impressed if we had an interactive 'voice' giving us helpful hints huh? hhahahaa. I'll keep on trying!
I am making a dress and I hope 2 fit into it VERY WELL by the time I am done...which should hopefully be in the next couple of days!!!

" It's cold, dreary and dull... now that's motivation for ya!"
I usually train with a group of 4-5 girls every Saturday morning at our local beach. I was on my own this morning as the girls were busy. The challenge for me was whether or not I would get myself out of bed. Sure enough I did... only to get back in 10 mins later.
I applaud myself for deciding on leaving my warm cocoon of a bed, get dressed and head off to the beach for a moderate jog - a couple of Ks (4-5 approx.) there and back in under 10 mins is quite a feat for me. I have a lot to be proud of today. Not only did I push myself to get out of bed - I'm no morning person, you see - but I also ran on my own...the whole way. I kept telling myself 'I can do it' and I did. After coming home, I did some pilates for 30 mins and am now ready to have a hearty meal!
Good day to you all. I hope I can maintain an active and healthy lifestyle - sticking to me exercise and diet regime.

Still trying to get the hang of this. I have never tried to keep track of my diet and exercise activity before discovering 'fatsecret' so it does feel good to know how many calories one is taking and how many burns off on a daily basis - considering that one maintains their exercise and diet routine up. When it comes to my weight - it mainly has to do with my eating. I often get caught up with what I eat and and I don't really take notice of whether I am eating too much or too little. I am going to monitor it from now on and reap the benefits.
I feel fitter than I have in a long time. I firmly believe that losing weight has to do with one's mental state. It won't happen in one day but I look forward to the day that I reach my goal weight. Right now, however, I am going to be happy and love the body I am in. I want to laugh and enjoy everything life has to give while I have this chance to LIVE IT.
