Migraine lasted til today, and the meds were not working all the way, but all of a sudden, on the way to work, it pretty much went away and I'm feeling better. I'm hoping this is the end of the Atkins flu and my body is now used to it.

Darn! Thought I could avoid the Atkins flu, but started feeling yucky yesterday. Got a migraine today which luckily I have a script for. Also craving Caribs but doing well not cheating. Hope the side effects go.way soon. I am drinking water and chkn broth religiously and started magnesium, vitamin D, flaxseed oil and multivitamin supplements.

Day 2 and I feel great! I honestly thought I would not be feeling that well, my body getting used to this way of eating, but I did the chicken broth morning and night and had a lot of energy last night. Slept very well last night and I swear my skin even looks better. I feel in a better mood.
Tried one of the Endulge bars last night, the chocolate coconut. The box says for all phases but the Atkins site says phases 2,3,and 4. Hmmm...oh well, I was impressed with the taste. Satisfied my sweet tooth just fine.
Hubby made me eggs this morning in a little butter and I put some goat cheese on them. Yummy. I forgot how good the WHOLE egg tastes and cooked in butter.
I also had some hot tea and I feel very satisfied. I need to figure out what to do for lunch, tho. Not sure I want a Subway salad today and did not prepare so I will have to eat out. I know salads are safe, and I wouldn't mind trying a different place for a salad, but watching the salad dressings are going to be a challenge. I wonder if any restaurants have SF dressings that are good.

Day 1 and so far so good, of course I carbed out big time last night since I knew I'd be starting today. I had a pulled BBQ sandwich, fried okra, and topped it all off with a piece of Red Velvet Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. Yes, I was livin' it up.
This morning, I've had an Atkins Advantage Shake and the recommended chicken broth. Not really hungry for much else. Gosh, I wonder why (a little sarcasm there).
It's inspiring to read all the losses here. I really like this site, perhaps even more than Sparkpeople.
