I have spent the last 5 months trying to mainly do carnivory if not keto (usually OMAD) interspersed with periods of falling off the wagon due to stupid sugar addiction (mainly chocolate or ice cream being the downfall). The longer I stay on the wagon the more the cravings fade but I still seem to crack after a round 3-4 weeks and stuff it up for a couple of days. Sometimes just the once and get strict again. Feel like crap soon after the endorphins subside (both guilt from giving in and physically from the mad blood sugar and digestive roller coaster). I think weight can creep back on if overeating on keto (and come back off if slightly restricting calories without much hunger) but carnivory seems a bit more forgiving if not restricting calories - seem to just plateau. Definitely feel better on carnivory (no bloat, lots of feeling of well-being) and even though plateauing on weight body comp seems to improve with minimal resistance exercise.
