Lunch today and pretty much everyday : a nommy mega salad..fill that tummy up!
Lashings of low fat home-made salad dressing:
Equal amounts of lemon, mustard, miso, nutritional yeast and date paste all blended up and poured over a salad which is then sprinkled lightly with dukkah.

Hubby weighs 87.7. He lost 2kg in one week!
Definitely back on track. Surprised to lose so much so soon.
changes: Cut down on the amount of lentils/beans and switched to potatoes. (lower calories per volume) Skipped a meal yesterday. Made sure to rebound everyday.
Hubby switched to salad lunches. We both behaved fairly well with treats, mainly sticking to banana ice-cream and a small nibble of dark chocolate. Though last night we did have a kitkat.

hubbys weight: 89.7
one last record in before Serious Sam time!
We binged out last night on junk watching movies, a previous bad habit we are slipping back into. I've been cooking more complex dishes lately, and quite a few curries which I feel lead to us eating more, then craving treats.
Game Plan:
Follow the calorie density approach and keep meals simple.
Salad with no oil home-made dressings, baked potato topped with home-made vegan cheese sauce/salsa and banana ice-cream desserts for the week!
To break the tv munchies habit I think I will challenge my hubby to some online card games and see if I can possibly entice him to walk the dog with me.
Sounds good in theory, lets hope we do it. ( i know we will, cause its actually yummy and filling)
