Anyone have a good sweet tasting protein powder to recommend? I have a mixed berry flavored veggie protein powder that I absolutely hate. To the point of almost being ill while trying to drink it. I’m looking for something that I can make a smoothie out of and get around 20-40g protein for about 200calories as a breakfast replacement on gym days. I picked up some generic whey packets in vanilla and chocolate and I’m hopeful! A friend recommended body fortress isolate protein but she mixes it with juice (high calories and sugar), berries, spinach and kale. Not sure if she can even taste it and she doesn’t like sweets like I do.

Any recipes that don’t include milk would be awesome ;). Under $5 per large shake of possible as that’s what I’m paying now for the smoothie place to make me one ;). It’s about 24oz. LOVE bananas so any recipe that has that if someone has one they make regularly would be appreciated as well :). I’ve been looking up severa but thought some of you might have some that you’ve tried and enjoy for someone with a sweet tooth. Like major sweet tooth! My current one from in town is strawberries bananas white chocolate and when protein.

Anything with stevia makes me gag so I used to use a vegan protein powder brand Orgain but eventually had to stop because of the stevia. But it comes in chocolate, vanilla, or creme cookie flavors so maybe something like that would be good. My favorite smoothie these days is 1 cups of berries, half an apple, and a 1/4 of avocado with ginger. Not a lot of protein but tasty. I don't like bananas so I can't help you there.

I’m finding that I’m gaining more muscle now than when I started a month ago. Lifting the same or less but eating more protein. I’m NOT a breakfast eater but on gym mornings I find that if I force myself to eat something (on the go as we are usually running late) I don’t get as tired as quickly. That’s why I was/am looking for a protein shake with a protein powder. I like smoothies way too much to just have one because- I would eat them constantly and go over my calories easily :P. I’ve never had stevia that I know of. I love Splenda but everyone tells me regular sugar is better so once my 1000 box is gone I guess I’ll go back to sugar and figure out how to adjust for those calories. Sweet tea has to be better for me than my previous soda ;). I’ll have to try stevia. It’s been recommended to me a few times now. Thanks for your input and recipe!

Powdered Stevia is available at my local Kroger/Frys/King Sooper, in a shaker container. Dry Stevia is more pure than the liquid version. I also use it in baking - typically 30/70 with Erythritol, to boost the sweetness.

Integrated supplements in chocolate was the last kind I bought. It’s really good and was easy on my stomach. I started Keto right after buying it 😔 I want to try to work it into my diet

Wow thank you guys! Next time I’m at the store I’ll see if they have any of these. I know they have quest brand snacks but my kids tend to eat any protein bars I buy :/. They leave the powder alone as it takes work and they can’t sneak it lol. So many of the bars have a lot of carbs. One I saw had more carbs than protein and was like 300 calories :/. A smoothie I can sip on is more filling and limits my cravings for sweets and eating out of boredom. Thanks again!!
