Alcohol is a macro? Why isn’t it listed on this app?!?!

I’m not much of a drinker. But I’ve never heard of alcohol being a macronutrient lol. Somehow I don’t think I need it to survive like protein either. :) But if this is correct I hope someone lets me know :D.

Hmm is hat why bud light and amaretto sours make me want to dance?? It’s the energy from them?? Sweet. I’ll tell my dr next month that I should be allowed more because surely the benefits of dancing and being more active is better than the carbs! 🤔😏😝

If I recall correctly, alcohol is complicated where dieting is concerned. I haven't looked into it much since I drink maybe twice a year but I think you can count it as a fat or carb, it really doesn't matter much. It's when you go crazy that it may affect progress. I had a friend on a diet where he was still able to have his nightly 6 pack while losing fat.

I just let fat secret decide which it is for me ;). I don’t plan alcohol into my calorie allowance. It’s always a ‘I’m ticked off and need one or I’ll choke someone’ kinda thing or a ‘omg it’s 3am and I can’t sleep so I’ll down a beer to relax’ sort of thing ;). Again like maybe 6 beers a year and two amaretto sours around my birthday.

Hey we all know the basic food groups - Sugar, Salt, Fat, Caffeine, Chocolate, and Alcohol - and that Chocolate Mousse is the perfect food because it has all the food groups, right?

Ohhh I haven’t had that in years! I think snickers and Milky Way are the prefect food.. and pizza.. and I could go on and on lol. I almost wish nobody had started making those things. Then I’d be happy with meat and veggies :).

Pizza is pretty close. It has a good amount of all macros. Mmmmmm

Yes pizza is good but it lacks chocolate, caffeine and alcohol so would have to supplement ;)
