Real quick NSV that was worth the experience: I was bringing my bike into the garage at a slow speed... too slow in fact. And boop... down she went 😢. I have crash bars, so everything was protected and nothing damaged and no injuries at all, so I wasn't worried (except I'd just filled the 7.5 gallon tank, so there was overflow onto my driveway that left a stain, but whatever).

ANYHOW, I'd never picked this top-heavy motorcycle up before, but to my surprise, lifting an 800# fully loaded bike uphill from the downhill side (working against gravity) took like 10 seconds and virtually no effort at all!

Squats are the best exercise ever! Yaaaaay!

...aaaaand done 👌

Hubby tipped his over 20 years ago. Scared the cr@p out of him. Next I knew it was in the shed for a "time out". The following Spring he sold it. Can't say I was sorry to see it go. Bye-bye 🏍️

Yeah, you do-work-out because many people don't understand how heavy a bike is and how awkward it can be to move it around.

Oh my gosh! Glad I didn't see it happen and glad you've got the crash bars - worth every penny of those babies! I had them on mine, and I remember picking her up - she was heavy for a girl like me {interpret as 0 muscles, allergic to lifting anything other than groceries - at the time}. I dropped her when I rode her into some boulders at the side of the road and had to peel myself off the rocks - banged up but nothing broken. Then I dropped her again two weeks later when I picked her up from the repair shop. Seeing as our son was getting married the following month and my dress wouldn't cover bruises I put her away for the rest of the summer and completely lost my nerve to get back on. Told my hubby to sell her early the next spring. Kick myself now for selling her, but maybe it was for the better. I had taken the m/c course offered at the College and I was shocked that could lift hubby's bike 850 lbs - knowing how to do it right...

I had a brain fart once with mine, rolled it out of the garage and turned to close the door and heard the awful noise of it hitting the ground, I had left it in neutral on the sloped driveway and it decided to roll, luckily it fell mostly into the grass with the tires still on the driveway. It was a pain trying to pick it up with it wanting roll down the driveway.
