**WHY WE'RE ALL HERE (A LOVE STORY)**

I have known people in my life that have been highly successful on ketogenic diets. Also I've known lots of folks that've done well with fasting, IF, and other restrictive dieting methods. I've even seen many people succeed on high carbs or high fat diets.

🔊 But, there is NO universal, one-size-fits-all diet! 📣

However, that being said, each individual's lifestyle is their own limitation. If in ketosis, it's a struggle to do some activities that carbs allow for. For folks that have temptation or self-control issues, carbs can be a stumbling block.

⭐⭐ All diets CAN work - they just don't ALL work for ALL people. The trick to dieting is knowing your own weaknesses and building upon your own strengths. ⭐⭐

Develop a healthy relationship with food. No food is "the enemy" or inherently "evil". Some are unhealthy or may not work for some individuals and these folks need to avoid them for their own sake.

But to criticize or tell people they're "doing it all wrong" isn't justifiable. 👎 It goes beyond just being kind to one another. It's an understanding that we truly are all different and our metabolisms and lifestyles each have different requirements 👍

One thing all of us here in this community have in common is we all must develop willpower and discipline and commit to a plan that works towards our own personal goals. 💪

Support and advise is always appreciated and the strong should always support the weaker to bring them up... as well the struggling and developing members are the reason we're still here - even after some of us have met our goals and developed our strategies!

❤ Best wishes and love to all! ❤

Wow Chris(tie) this is deep! :) Completely agree :). I’ll take all the advice anyone cares to give, but get irritated at the ‘do it my way or else’ attitude. One day I’ll find something that works continuously but until then I’m flexible dieting with high protein/carb moderate fat lol. If you don’t have enough brian power perhaps you should add in a banana for some carbs :). But yeah, that’s me every day- not enough brain power to do all that I need to do or should do lol.

Yep. After trying bazillion diets all my life, the one that actually works and will maintain for the rest of my life (hopefully ;)) is "Immort777's Own Diet" hehe.

Addictive for me too! I avoid Facebook mostly now because it’ll take me 2-3 hours a day to get through everyone’s posts. I’ve ended up sitting here all day before reading posts, checking FS, doing my logs etc. Hard to burn many calories that way!

Agreed! My way isn't necessarily your way. If you ask me for advise, I may chime in and I'll always try to point out inaccuracies-but we are all different.

I really 'try' to only convey my own experience rather than 'telling' people what they should do. I of course find that I am only partially successful at this 😞

Good luck getting that message through to people who really need to embrace it.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 So True! I’m following low fat which almost no one does anymore. Works for me! I would never criticize what is working for someone else - unless its medically unhealthy.
