Swelling is down but not gone. Pain over my ribs comes and goes. I’ve had several moments of ‘don’t care I’m eating it anyway’. So far it’s only been a handful of puppy chow yesterday, a couple peppermint sticks, a bit more cheese with my soup and this morning a snickers. The last was needed. Killer migraine that I slept off and it’s down to just a bad headache. Took 800mg ibuprofen script and realized my tummy felt odd. Well crap. Forgot they said I must eat with this or it’ll tear my stomach up and could give me cramps or nausea. Nausea it is. A snickers was the only thing close as I’ve been testing myself with it. I’ll need to start keeping a protein bar with it ;). Sucks that I ate the thing so fast just to get something on my stomach that I barely tasted it and sure didn’t enjoy it. The tummy is settling now though. Headache isn’t quite so bad and I’m finally getting my morning coffee. Trying to stay about 1500 doesn’t seem to work for me so I’ll aim for 1700. Don’t really care what it is as long as I don’t gain during the next 2 weeks of ‘forced rest’ that I’m halfway ignoring. Stepped up to my pull up bar, stuck my foot in the assist band and hubby was ‘hey are you supposed to do that?’ ‘You are the one who takes to the dr while I was out. Did he say no pull-ups? Haha that earned me a dirty look so I went slow and easy and went up, using the bands, until I felt a pull in my side. So now I know I’m not as bad off as I expected, I know the limit of my reach for that side and it let me know approximately what weight I can comfortably carry. Gave me a guess anyway. Why have a 10# restriction when I can easily hold my 38# kid? Would hurt my side but I held her in front of me just fine (she had to pee while fishing)May sneak the 3# weights soon. Those are light so shouldn’t hurt anything plus it’s 6# total so under the 10#.
