A bit irritated with myself. Normally after surgery I crash the weekend after. This time I had stuff to do and wasn’t tired. Had planned to do some stuff today but the binder was way constricting. I have issues with things poking up under my ribs and the binder wouldn’t stop doing that no matter how I moved it or loosened it. Took the darn thing off and laid down to watch tv. Next thing I knew kids were home. Sent them to do homework and next thing I know it’s 5:45. *sigh* must’ve needed the rest but a 3-4 hour nap wasn’t in the plans. Also means my planned treat for the evening is on hold. Can’t really have an extra 250 kcal if I burned 200 less than I planned. Tomorrow I may use the elliptical. I’m going a bit batty not having stuff to do constantly. Will also do some housework that I’m to start next week.

Diet/woe going better than expected. Nobody is talking me into eating out. Nobody is eating a ton of junk in front of me. Very little whining about the meals I’ve planned and made. That stops when you tell the kids to make X for me, Daddy wants Y and each kid wants A B & C and they get to make it if they aren’t happy with my food. Flares and dirty looks, half eaten meals but less complaining;).

That binder must be a pain. 😣 Sure hope you heal up soon and all gets back to normal soon. Smart strategy for meal time.😊

Thanks :). As to meals I get tired of hearing ‘we aren’t on the diet, stop making us eat your food’. Umm it’s tacos, that they requested lol. Binder wasn’t bad last time but the swelling stuck around longer. Now the swelling is going down faster and I find the binder pinches now like it did last time about 2 weeks post op. Tempted to just put on my shapewear panties that I bought for last time. Shouldn’t put them on until after week 2-3 however. Know my dr will say binder and no shapewear if I call. So I’ll take it off and give myself a break occasionally. May wear the shapewear under it but that means taking both on and off every bathroom trip.

it is a good thing that you are not overdoing you can mess everything up. it is better to rest now and let things heal then have to go back and have corrective work.

There won’t be corrective work in this case. It’s fat grafting so they aren’t worried about looks of where they took the fat but rather where they placed it. Fortunately I’ve retained the fat around my implants from the first surgery. Dr was surprised and said if he had known then he would’ve tried to get them even then and saved me a surgery. The big surgeries I followed most of their restrictions for at least a week or so. Even now I’m to take 1-4 slow walks around my neighborhood or home but nothing strenuous. My neighborhood is us and a house 3/4 of a mile away lol. To go by al the neighbors I know I’d be walking 4 miles on a loose sand road and diving for the steep ditches morning and evening when the nite go 70 trying to get kids to school on time. 😳 I’ve had things last week I could do like Walmart (hubby pushed the cart), fishing day field trip and family fishing that evening etc. This week there’s not much to do and no family or friends will do anything because they are afraid I will overdo lol. I may walk the 400ft driveway today to stay sane!
