NSV this morning at the gym on chest day: lifted 38,500 lbs total volume in just over 30 minutes with no barbell work - only dumbbells! "I think I can do one more set" was my theme.

1300 calories (with minimal carbs) yesterday and <700 calories before going in... it really is a mental game (cutting while lifting), but I'm still hitting bigger numbers and weights are increasing without stalls!

This is awesome! I'm really curious how much impact it will have going back up an extra thousand calories and stacking my huge carbs back in just a few more weeks.... 🤔

Haha, I guess that's where I got my abs that protrude despite all the fat. I've sat up with heavy dumbbells for years and years.

I never had issues with my wrists and dumbbells. Wrapping would probably do it.

Nope, I hate that, so many dumbbells bent by people doing that. I stand up with them even with the 130's.

I don't have anything fancy. Just search on amazon, any of the 15-20 dollar top rated ones will do. Pick a color that will match your tights.

I walked into gym tonight with an old dude dropping the whole stack on tricep pushdowns after his last rep... And he was only doing little half reps anyway 🙄
