Ok so this isn’t really a nsv but it made my day. My 12 year old is just barely shorter than me and weighs in around 105-112 depending on the day. She is in track, basketball, volleyball, helps with our 4 year old team, 11-12 hours a day in practice, athletics and PE and they occasionally lift weights. She’s developing some fat over those muscles (a good thing I think as she’s young and is still growing) and a tiny belly pooch she noticed today. She loves teasing me about how I’m still ‘fat’. She’s my bratty child but in this teasing she is very nice and I know it’s her way of being a part of this.

So to what made my day...

She’s been teasing me that I’ve only went from a 10 to a 6. Yes the 8-10’s I was wearing were tight and these 6’s are loose but I’m not ready to go to a 4 until they fit good and not tight. At the store she tried on jeans and they fit great. Anyone want to guess the size? A 5! Haha. I’m a good 15# heavier and one size bigger. THEN she raided my closet and picked out things I wore at 20-24 years old when I ranged from 108-125. They fit her perfectly! Sweater is a bit tight but it’s the stretchy kind so can fit a small OR medium. She just finished saying I was ‘soooooo much bigger than her young muscular body’ and therefore my clothes would hang on her haha. Just made my day. Sry child but I’ll be to your weight sooner than you think!! Shoes is the only thing she can’t borrow as she went from a 6 (my size) to an 8.5 or so in just a few months 😳. I kinda hope she gets just a half size bigger than me so I can borrow HER clothes haha. Hubbys side are all large framed, broad shouldered, super tall and heavier. I want her to be more like me with my frame size yet just to the point I can ‘steal’ her stuff like she does mine hehe.
