Ate a couple fried pickle and a salad before this, with regular ranch! Ate a few bites of the potatoes and about half the steak. I was comfortably full and hubby was ready to go so I took the rest home. Portion control is awesome! Now I can have the treats I plan to have. It’s a big treat day as it’s 2 years exactly from my last chemo! I plan to eat whatever I want in any amount I want today! Forgot to get donuts though so that plan is out lol. Perhaps I’ll have some of hubbys Apple pie. Or two snickers. Or the leftover pizza. Or... who knows. I’ll find something to celebrate later 😁. Probably pizza and a beer lol.

The fried pickles had a Cajun batter so were very spicy! 4-5 of them was all I could take lol. Thanks everyone! It was so delicious!

@wifey congrats to your mom! Cancer sucks lol. I was lucky in that I didn’t know I had it until it was already out. My friends and family think I’m a bit nuts but I celebrate every little thing that has to do with cancer. Most times it’s simple like having a beer or a candy bar. Sometimes it’s eating out like this lunch. No one else needs to remember or celebrate but I will no matter how simple. Survivors rock! Chemo sucks and I can only imagine the hell of radiation!

You have every right to celebrate!! Radiation is awful! My sons best friend who’s only 14 was diagnosed less than a year ago with brain cancer, has had months of chemo and radiation but thank God it all did what it’s supposed to do. The massive tumor is GONE!!!! Unfortunately he has lost all use of his right hand and has to wear a leg brace...but he’s still with us and that’s what matters!!!! All the best to you. Keep celebrating for the next 100 years!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
