Woke at 230.6, down 5.6 from yesterday after my third 36-hour fast of the week. I will eat approximately 2300 calories today and tomorrow (based on my calorie burn as determined by Fitbit). I like the ease and results of alternate day fasting during the week. Another thing I like is that my resting heart rate is in the upper 50s even on my fasting days. It used to drop to the high 40s on the weekends. I think that means my BMR is higher. UPDATE: Nice breakfast, skipped lunch, and went right to an early dinner. Denise and I went to The Charles, a new place near us that is associated with Farmers and Distillers, which I visit often downtown. It was great. I did have a chocolate dessert (that I did not photograph). Later weighed 231.4, so the waking weight is a very acceptable low.
