Flys were 40-45 max last set for 4-6 reps at most. That was April. Muscles may not be gaining size like I want but my strength has sure went up! Leg press was 210 max, 1-2 reps. Need to test that again. This tells me I’m a unicorn 🦄 that is losing fat and gaining muscle at the same approximate rate since my measurements are the same. OR nothing is losing/gaining but strength lol. Man I hope I’m a 🦄. 🦄 🌈 ✨

Unicorn for sure. Do you always warm up with lighter weights (sorry just looking for hints)

Yes I do. I bought Thinner Leaner Stronger by Michael Matthews and use his 3/week workout schedule. He suggests warming up with lighter weights on your first 3 sets just to get the blood pumping and the muscles ready to work. Then do 3x sets of that same exercise at your normal weight. Sometimes I throw in a heavier set at the end if I think I can handle it. And don’t be sorry! I’ve picked a lot of brains here and still do! Chris helped me immensely when I started out lifting. Same for CB, Diablo, Rosio, and many others! Too many to name lol.

Thanks! Actually no real soreness yet. Then again I’ve laid around and haven’t really done anything except laundry so far lol. Maybe later. Butt is a tiny bit sore as well as very lower back. Not what I expected though.
